Legal notice

Legal Notice — Outline (radiancerevivestore.com)

A "Legal Notice" (sometimes called an Impressum or Mentions Légales) is a separate page from your Terms of Service and Privacy Policy — it's a short, factual disclosure of who operates the site, rather than the rules customers agree to. Shopify has a dedicated policy slot for it (Settings → Policies → Legal notice), and yours isn't filled in yet. It's not strictly required for a US-only store, but since your shipping policy says you ship worldwide, having one adds legitimacy for international (especially EU) visitors, who are used to seeing this disclosure on any site they buy from.

Here's the section-by-section outline. I've filled in what I already know from your store; anything marked [fill in] needs a decision from you before I draft the full text.

1. Site Operator / Publisher Identification

  • Trade name: Radiance Revive (radiancerevivestore)

  • Website: radiancerevivestore.com

  • Business legal structure: [fill in — sole proprietorship, LLC, etc.]

  • Owner/operator name: [fill in — your legal name, if you want it listed]

  • Registered address: 773 Sanford Avenue, Newark, NJ 07106, United States

  • Phone: (201) 362-3539

  • Email: support@radiancerevivestore.com

  • EIN / business registration number: [fill in, optional — only if you want it public]

2. Hosting Provider

Standard boilerplate naming Shopify as the platform host:

  • Shopify Inc., 151 O'Connor Street, Ottawa, ON K2P 2L8, Canada (or Shopify's current published hosting entity — I'll verify the exact current legal entity when we draft full text, since Shopify's corporate details can change).

3. Nature of the Business

  • One or two sentences on what the site does: sells skincare tools and serums direct to consumers online.

4. Intellectual Property

  • States that the site's content (text, images, logos, product photos) is owned by Radiance Revive or its licensors and may not be reproduced without permission.

5. Limitation of Liability

  • Standard disclaimer that content is provided "as is," prices/availability may change, and the site isn't liable for indirect damages from use of the site — this mirrors language likely already in your Terms of Service, referenced rather than duplicated.

6. Governing Law & Jurisdiction

  • Which state's law governs disputes — typically wherever the business is registered.

  • [fill in — confirm New Jersey, or wherever your business is legally formed if different from your home address]

7. Data Protection Reference

  • One line pointing to your Privacy Policy for how customer data is handled, rather than repeating it here.

8. Cookies Reference

  • One line pointing to the cookie section of your Privacy Policy.

9. Contact for Legal Inquiries

  • Reuses the email/phone/address from Section 1, framed as the contact point for legal or regulatory questions specifically.

Two things I need from you before I write the full text:

  1. Your business's legal structure (sole proprietor under your own name, or a registered LLC/corp — and if so, its exact registered name)

  2. Whether the governing state/jurisdiction is New Jersey, or somewhere else your business is formally registered

Once I have those, I can draft the complete, ready-to-paste Legal Notice text the same way I did for the shipping policy.
